TS 220 Cable type Touch probe
3-D Touch Probes for Workpiece Alignment and Measurement, generally used on machines without a tool changer.
3-D touch trigger probes from HEIDENHAIN enable the user to perform frequently required setup tasks quickly, conveniently, and precisely. In addition to their capability for fast and exact Workpiece alignment, the 3-D touch probes are also suited for automatic Workpiece measurement on the machine. Most CNC controls — and in particular the HEIDENHAIN TNC controls — provide a number of cycles for the automatic measurement of common geometrical forms such as holes, rectangular pockets, circular pockets, slots, studs, bolt hole circles, and planes. This brings further benefits, for example, by making it possible to automatically compensate setup position error.
3-D touch probes from HEIDENHAIN produce the trigger signal with a contact-free optical switch. The sensor therefore operates without wear to guarantee the high long-term stability of HEIDENHAIN 3-D touch probes
Various Shank options are available the above price is for a 20 mm parallel shank or SK40 shank.
For a new installation you will also need an adaptor cable with lengths available 3,5,10,15,20 or 25 meters
