TS 632 Infrared Touch probe

Suitable for use with Heidenhain controls up to TNC426/430.

3-D Touch Probes for Workpiece Alignment and Measurement

3-D touch trigger probes from HEIDENHAIN enable the user to perform frequently required setup tasks quickly, conveniently, and precisely. In addition to their capability for fast and exact Workpiece alignment, the 3-D touch probes are also suited for automatic Workpiece measurement on the machine. Most CNC controls — and in particular the HEIDENHAIN TNC controls — provide a number of cycles for the automatic measurement of common geometrical forms such as holes, rectangular pockets, circular pockets, slots, studs, bolt hole circles, and planes. This brings further benefits, for example, by making it possible to automatically compensate setup position error during production and without manual intervention, or automatically measure machined surfaces for tool wear compensation in the part program. The measured workpieces can be sorted into groups (good/scrap/rework) and the results logged for quality control.

In the new TS 632 with infrared transmission, HEIDENHAIN has realized an operating time of 250 hours. The TS 632 can therefore be used to perform monitoring, inspecting, and quality assurance tasks in minimally manned plants. It is also possible to digitise work pieces or models on a machine with the TS 632.

 

3-D touch probes from HEIDENHAIN produce the trigger signal with a contact-free optical switch. The sensor therefore operates without wear to guarantee the high long-term stability of HEIDENHAIN 3-D touch probes

 

Shank options available are SK/BT 40, SK30, SK/BT50.C40,C50 AND HSK

 

For a new installation you will also need an SE640 infra red receiver an adaptor cable with lengths available 3,5,10,15,20 or 25 meters a ts6xx fitting kit and angle bracket.
